Sheep Sculpture: beginning

There are a few exhibitions coming up this year and I’m keen to produce some new work. Sheep have long been a great love of mine, from the noble and ancient-looking Cheviot with its prominent brow, to the oh-so-sweet faced Poll Dorsets that I got to know and love when living in Dorset.

I’m planning to sculpt some sheep and cast them in bronze. The scale I want to work at is about 1/3 life size.
