Greek jug and lilies

Oil on canvas…

I bought two of these beautiful jugs in Crete, intending to give one away. Somehow I couldn’t do it, they seem to belong together.

I am always happy when I find flowers that show off the beauty of such vessels, which serve also to show off the beauty of the flowers.
